Thanks Phil. Do you happen to know any good picture tutorials on installing an oil pressure gauge?
I don’t have one for installing the gauge it’s self specifically. But that should be super easy anyways since it’s just like installing any other gauge. Check out this link for actually installing the oil pressure sender unit.
I have a pair of 2005 Lotus Elise seats up for trade or sale. Some of you have probably seen them if you go to any of the wcmc autocross’s. Their Chris’s old seats from his Ti msm. I’ve now had them for about a year and a half. I’m just looking to do something new and my gf is tired of being uncomfortable in longer car rides. So I’ve decided to get something else.
They are red leather with mounting holes for a harness. Both are in pretty ok condition, but the driver’s side has some obvious wear points. I’ve been daily driving in them the last year. For a while I was thinking of reupholstering them but just haven’t gotten around to it. The passenger seat is in much better condition though, a metal brace was added to reinforce the headrest. There was a crease that made it a little flimsy, I don’t remember what Chris told me how it happened, but it happened before I bought the seats, I then made a strong brace for it. You don’t even really notice it, because it’s paint matched to the back of the seat.
Both seats come with mounting brackets that have working sliders. So you can adjust the position of the seat. Though, if your taller then 5’8, you’ll probably just have the seat back all the way anyways. You also sit much lower in the car, basically on the floor. It tends to get a little tedious getting in and out of the car.
I’d preferably like to trade these for a hard top with defrost. That should give you an idea of what I’d be asking cash wise if you want to make the offer. If the top doesn’t have defrost I’ll still consider it. If I had to put a price on them, I’d say $950 for both seats and brackets.
I will also be looking into picking up a set of NA seats. I’ll want to do a foamoctomy on them.
I’m very negotiable on price/trades. So if you interested, please get in contact with me either via a PM here or my email, firstname.lastname@example.org.
